El Puente de la Libertad

Data entre 1897 y 1898, siendo Gobernador de la Provincia del Cauca el Jurista bugueño Manuel Antonio Sanclemente.

Fue construido por el Ingeniero Alemán Joseph Binder o “Hermando Silvestre” y unos ingenieros bugueños. El Puente de la Libertad, obra toda de mampostería, tiene 200 metros de largo aproximadamente y de ancho 4 metros. Está concebido en siete arcos sobre el río, los barandajes soportados en columnas; tiene una buena iluminación nocturna. La categoría de la construcción es de conservación integral.
